NEW Sample Edit Service, Now Accepting Commissions for the Spring

Hello Everyone,

So much has been happening since my last post. Where to start?

First off, editing is now complete on several books from D.P. Prior (Carnifex, Geas of the Black Axe, Revenge of the Lich and Return of the Dwarf Lords--this is the COMPLETE  Legends of the Nameless Dwarf Saga) as well as one from Derek Prior (The Attic). WHEW!  That was a lot of editing!

So, the good news is that I am now accepting commissions for the Spring.  As always, slots are filled on a first come, first served basis, so book early for the dates you want.  

A second very exciting thing is the new sample edit service: First Five Pages Critique. This option gives you the full editorial experience on the most important part of your book:  The opening.  It also gives you a taste of my editorial style and helps you determine if we will be a good fit to work together on larger projects.

Also, during the past few months, I completed and released my own novella, The House, which has met with phenomenal success. Production on the audio book version of this is complete, so this story will soon be available on Audible. There are also several foreign language translations in the works for this and my previous short, The Basement . Very exciting times!

Now Accepting Commissions for November and December 2015

Greetings everyone,

I have just completed the final edit of Michael Karner and Isaac Newton Acquah's excellent, upcoming spy thriller Love is for Tomorrow (the free prequel to it, Reunion, is already available on Amazon).


This is a fast-paced thrill ride that takes readers across four continents.  What a great read!  And what lovely gentlemen to work with too!

You may also have noticed that I have released my own short horror/thriller read, The Basement.  

As I write, it is #18 in the Paid Kindle Store under Short Reads for Mystery, Thriller & Suspense as well as #32 in Kindle Short Reads for Literature & Fiction.  

This was edited by D.P. Prior who is also celebrating his own bestselling new release today, The Seventh Horse.

I'm so excited about them all! Congratulations everyone!

We are happy to announce that, as of today, we are once again open for commissions!

Paula has completed her summer teaching obligations and is now able to focus full time on editing.  This means that there is more availability than during the busy times of the academic year.

If you browse through our offerings, you'll see some changes.  We are excited to have added some new services to compliment our existing ones.  These were provided to meet the growing demands and needs of our clientele.
